WWE News: AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar Confirmed for Survivor Series PPV

Last night’s Smackdown turned out to be a shocker one considering the big title change in the main event of the show. Shane McMahon made the match official on Twitter, last week after Jinder Mahal delivered an onslaught attack on the phenomenal one with the help of The Singh Brothers. It forced him to put the WWE title on the line just days before the Survivor Series PPV.

AJ Styles was quite determined heading into the match to dethrone the modern-day Maharaja from his throne following the ambush that he received, last week. So, from the get-going, he went on to attack the champion in the match in a fast pace making it an entertaining contest.

Jinder Mahal failed to cope up with the momentum initially, but he backfired quickly with The Khallas move. But, the face that runs the place was able to counter-attack with the pendant finishing move, phenomenal fore-arm. Jinder failed to recover from it and suffered the pinfall loss.

By this, AJ Styles became the new WWE Champion. He dethroned Jinder from his title reign that remained for over six months. It led to a big-time change at the main event of the Survivor Series PPV.

As we all know, the Universal Campion from Raw will go head to head with the WWE Champion at the upcoming PPV. Previously, Jinder was scheduled to compete in the match. But, now, AJ Styles has replaced him. He will be facing the beast incarnate on November 19th. Check out the confirmations made by WWE.com,
