WWE News: Alberto Del Rio Gives Update on Paige’s Return
Nov 9, 2017 at 4:23 PM
Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron of Impact Wrestling promotion is a former WWE superstar who has been a multi-time champion in the company during his heyday.
Later, his bad behaviour forced him to quit the WWE only to return, later in 2015. It was the time when he met WWE Diva Paige and started dating.
The relationship started on a controversial note since they have an age difference of almost 14 years. Plus, back at that time, Del Rio was a married guy. Apparently, this relation is the sole reason why Paige has been in the dog-house of the company in the last year. It also forced WWE to release him from the contract.
Since then, Alberto Del Rio went bad mouth about the company on multiple occasions regarding WWE not using him or his girlfriend to the fullest potential. The bohemian lifestyle of Paige and Del Rio led the former Divas Champion to get suspended from the WWE on two different occasions.
After much controversies, Paige finally managed to get back to the WWE, once again earlier this year. The question surrounding is whether WWE will let her comeback as early as possible. While speaking to TMZ Sports, her boyfriend gave a positive answer to it. He was on a promotional tour for Combates America MMA company while the source asked him about Paige’s return status,
“It’s going to happen pretty soon; I cannot give you any more details because I will get her in trouble. They told her to lay low and not to talk too much about it.”
As you can see, the Mexican Aristocrat has become quite sensible while speaking something about WWE or Paige. So, he did not want to give any spoiler of the much-anticipated comeback. However, Del Rio confirmed that it is going to happen on WWE TV, real quick,
“She’s in Orlando at the moment. She’s been there for the last six weeks. She’s probably days away from going back to WWE and [doing] something in the ring.”
Paige has reportedly done with her training sessions at the WWE performance center. So, she might be back in the squared circle just after the Survivor Series PPV passes by.
