Alberto Del Rio and Paige got engaged following her neck surgery in an independent wrestling show. Once that happened they teased it many times that they will tie the knot. However, it did come abruptly with an update from Del Rio’s social media account.
Also, it was quite surprising that they are going to tie the knot at a time when Paige might have started to recover from her media leak scandal.
The former WWE champion took to his Instagram account to drop some bombshell news. He announced that he and his love of life are going to be married on Wednesday i.e. today on March 29th. Also, he openly took a shot to a wrestling promotion stating that they tried to break his relationship with Paige.
There’s no doubt that he was clearly talking about WWE who allegedly tried to ruin Paige’s career. Check out the full statement given by him:
“I doesn’t matter how many times you try to break us… is not gonna happen… we were harassed by a company we still are… cause you don’t fool me MF’s I know I was you trying to destroy us… destroy my baby… she’s better stronger than all of you pieces of ? Although, the good news for her fans is that the anti-Diva is gradually recovering from the mental trauma that she suffered from the internet media leak. She made her first public appearance following the incident with her soon-to-be husband, Del Rio.
The Imperia Lucha Libre event in Lima, Peru witnessed the couple attending the show. Paige’s name was acknowledged in the show. She was also seen in a cheerful mood while interacting with the fans in attendance.
