WWE News: Alexa Bliss Expressed Feelings Of Not Being Part Of NXT Four Horse-Women

Alexa Bliss was moved to Monday Night Raw from the Smackdown brand in the month of April. It was her presence which made the women’s roster on the blue brand, a must-watch, every single week. Quite expectedly, things were messed up initially following her departure.

But the Raw Women’s division benefitted from it. The female roster on the flagship brand was becoming stale for quite a long time where she brought a breath of fresh air for sure. This helped her to become the first-ever Raw and Smackdown women’s champion. No wonder, she started to call herself, the “Goddess of WWE”.

All the credits for taking over the women’s division goes to the “Little Miss Bliss” since she has found a way to make a name for herself when it was supposed that the four horsewomen from the NXT women’s roster will rule both Raw and Smackdown.

Alexa Bliss was never part of the elite group and nor did she had the opportunity of holding the NXT women’s title in the past. Plus, she also does not possess a great physique like the other prime women on the roster. Despite all the odds, she is the one who can gain more attention than anyone while standing in the ring. It’s undeniable that when it comes to mic work then no one is greater than her.

Recently, she appeared in an interview with Baltimore Sun where she was asked about not being part of NXT’s famous faction. The ‘wicked witch of the WWE’ revealed that she spent the same amount of time as Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley. But, these four got the attention that they needed whereas she starved for it until making it to the roster. Check out her full comments:

“Yeah, I think it put a chip on my shoulder, and it really drove me. I decided that with this opportunity, I was going to come in under the radar and so I’d have to kick down the door. I wasn’t featured as one of the Four Horsewomen, I wasn’t chosen for that opportunity. I wasn’t highlighted like the other women, but I was still there with all of them. I was there just as long, if not longer, as some of them because I was there before Becky.

I came in when Charlotte and Bayley and Sasha were there…I had trained with each and every one of them. I had some of my best matches with Sasha and Bayley. Charlotte took me under her wing when I first got there. I was there for all of it. I just wasn’t featured at that time. So I thought that if I was going to be called to SmackDown, then let them underestimate me and let me come in under the radar so I can kick down the door.”
