Alexa Bliss is indeed the Goddess of the WWE. This one character has become so much popular in the company which was unthinkable at one point.
With her height and weight not giving her any advantage, it was purely her work ethics that took her to the top. It’s understandable from the statistics that how much the creative team loves her to see as the champion.
So, in just one and a half year, she became a four-time champion. Not only that, she is the first woman to become the Raw and Smackdown women’s champion. Also, en route to her Elimination Chamber win, she had surpassed the previous longest reigning champion, Charlotte Flair.
There were some of the fans who thought the Elimination Chamber match would be her last night as the champion. The odds were stacked high against her like never before. But, she pulled off an incredible performance and walked out of the structure as the retaining champion.
Recently, Alexa Bliss talked about her triumphant outing at the bygone Raw-branded PPV in an interview with ESPN. She noted on soaking at the moment after her win by shedding tears. But, within moments, she had to get back to her character, as the crowd started to chant the ‘you deserve it’ words.
While speaking with the source, she clarified the tears were real as the win got into her skin a bit, making her emotional. But, she was able to bounce back as early as possible and put the fans in their place,
“Those were real tears for a minute, and then I had to be mean. It was great because I knew what my next move was. I was very excited to see how the crowd was going to react. I am very proud of the women’s division and genuinely happy that this happened and the fact that I got the ‘You deserve it!’ chant from the crowd, I don’t take that for granted; it’s amazing for our fans to do, but at the end of the day, I’m the bad guy, and I can’t have them cheering me. It wouldn’t be very Bliss of me if I thanked them for cheering me.”
The interview noted on the high-risk spot from the match where Alexa Bliss had to connect with a Twisted Bliss off the top of the pod on Sasha Banks. It was a dangerous move worth the watch for. But, in the end, she pulled it off, effectively making the fans to mark-out. It was her reaction about the spot,
“I’m not going to lie. I’ve done the ‘Twisted Bliss’ off of Braun Strowman’s shoulders before, but that’s not nothing to be on top of an Elimination Chamber pod.“
