As reported earlier, Andrade Cien Almas made his debut on Smackdown Live. He was an import from the NXT roster during the Superstar Shakeup process.

Apart from the IIconics from the developmental territory, the blue brand was able to snatch an absolute gem. But, he did not show up live-in-person on the show until last night.

Being the prizefighter from Mexico, he does not show up on any time or place. Instead, he chose the United Kingdom to be his debut spot.

He left multiple video messages and the manager by his side, Zelina Vega to hype-up this appearance on the blue brand. So, we expected a strong first outing for the former NXT Champion.

So, he appeared with Vega by his side for the first time on Smackdown Live. Unlike the expected packed arrangement, the creative team chose to feed a local talent to him. In his first match on the main roster, Cien Almas had a contest against a wrestler named, Jake Constantino.

The rookie was fired up by getting to perform in front of his hometown crowd. He started with a dropkick to Almas. But, the Mexican tackled him with quicker moves, soon. Jack was thrown into the turnbuckles to digest double knees from Almas.

Thereafter, he hit the hammerlock DDT to the rookie to pick up his first win on Smackdown.

It was quite an impressive outing for Almas on his first night on the show.

But, taking the easiest way might turn out to be harmful to this young man. Previously, names like Barn Corbin, Tye Dillinger and more have been wasted after coming to the main roster. Hopefully, that would not be the case for this bright talent from Mexico.

Even, Almas’ manager, Zelina Vega was seen frustrated with the lack of competition on Smackdown Live. She cut a furious promo once the match was over due to this. She made a bold statement to the fans and the locker room by uttering,

“I guess they were expecting more. After all the anticipation, they get to Smackdown Live and get that? It’s pathetic. Almost as pathetic as every superstar in the locker room.”

Hopefully, Almas will get to feature on Smackdown on a weekly basis. Only then, he will get to be a relevant name on the blue brand.
