WWE News: Another Smackdown Superstar is Set to go on Raw 1

In recent times, there has been quite a speculation of WWE bringing back the Superstar Shakeup. It is yet another desperate move to freshen things up on both the shows. The tradition of this thing started just after Wrestlemania 33. Moving forward from the old concept of the WWE Draft, Vince McMahon announced a shakeup where superstars will be swiped in between the brands.

April 10th and 11th marked those two dates on both Raw and Smackdown where we saw many superstars changing their home brand. Names like The Miz, Dean Ambrose, Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens were shifted to their opposite brand to give birth of some fresh feuds.

WWE is still not over with the effect, but the speculations suggest that another such event might be on the cards. Several sources reported that once the Summerslam PPV is gone, the company will bring back the tradition. The rumours of the same were fuelled up by an advertisement where a Smackdown superstar is being listed for a Raw-exclusive PPV.

The concerned superstar is none other than Sami Zayn who has now been added to the No Mercy PPV. In case you don’t know, it is going to be a brand exclusive PPV from the Raw brand following Summerslam. So, it is quite a surprise to witness Sami’s name in the card since he is a Smackdown superstar.

The venue of the PPV is the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The website of the arena has posted the following:

“This RAW exclusive PPV brings a day of reckoning to the City of Angels. See Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Bayley, Braun Strowman, Sasha Banks, Finn Balor, The Miz, Alexa Bliss, Sami Zayn, The Hardy Boys, Cesaro and Sheamus, and many more.”

The Underdog from the Underground was taken to the blue brand hoping that he would be used to his fullest potential, there. However, till date, he has not done anything incredible on the show. So, the officials are might be planning to shift him back to Raw with some planning that can justify his potential.
