Concerns over Asuka for Fastlane have come to an end after her brief appearance on Smackdown. She was getting physical with Fastlane opponent Mandy Rose hinting that her body is doing okay. So there would not be any prohibition for her to compete on this Sunday night’s pay-per-view event.

Wrestlemania caliber match took place after Smackdown
The Smackdown women’s champion has already dropped a tweet assuring the fans that she is fine. However, she did not declare the status for Fastlane keeping the title match in jeopardy. But attacking Mandy Rose was the final confirmation that she is ready to compete, again. Here’s more from wrestlingINC.com,
“As noted, there was a concern for SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka after she had an injury scare at Monday’s WWE live event in White Plains, NY during a match with Mandy Rose. Asuka later tweeted fans and said she was alright. Asuka is cleared for action as she got physical with Rose and Sonya Deville on this week’s SmackDown, taking them both out with strikes on the stage.”

As stated earlier, Asuka is set to defend her Smackdown women’s championship against Mandy Rose. This will be the first time that she will put her title on the line after Royal Rumble.
The injury scare broke around Asuka on Monday Night onwards. A live event took place hosted by Smackdown on that night where the women’s champion was in action. It was actually the same matchup that we will see at WWE Fastlane. Mandy Rose challenged the champion for the title in a match that came to an abrupt end.
Asuka got slammed into her back portion during the match. The referee had to interfere into the match after this giving a cross-signal to the back. The medical team ran down to proceed with further checking process and then carried her to the backstage area. The official had no choice but to disqualify the title match.
But most importantly, Asuka’s status for Fastlane got into jeopardy via this injury. She already missed the last PPV, Elimination Chamber due to the bad booking from the creative team. This already portrayed her as a weak champion over on Smackdown. Missing a second straight PPV prior to Wrestlemania 35 could make her position even worse. But thankfully, she will be able to compete and perhaps comes up with a dominant title defense.
