Ever since Asuka vacated the NXT Women’s championship, the rumour mill was running rampant with her future in the company. As expectedly the most dominant champion in the history of the NXT brand is likely to carry the title for some more days before she suffered the unfortunate collarbone injury.
The concussion was incurred in the title match against Ember Moon at NXT Takeover. Asuka’s status as the champion was in quite a jeopardy following this. So, in an NXT taping, we saw her relinquishing the title. Plus, it was announced, she is leaving the NXT brand, as well.
With this, the NXT GM, William Regal has also revealed he is negotiating with both Raw and Smackdown show-runners as of who would grab the dominant women’s champion in the history of the company. Well, on last night’s Raw, we have got the confirmation.
The hint was given when the Raw announcers indicated that something big is coming to the flagship show. They even speculated that how Kurt Angle managed to pull off this deal that can change the course of the roster.

Shortly after that, a promo was telecasted live on Raw which showed that something colourful, yet painful is coming on Raw. With that being shown, it was confirmed that the Empress of Tomorrow had been the drawn to the Raw Women’s division.
Just after the promo segment, the camera focused on Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss at the backstage area. They were not happy, at all with this new, as this arrival is supposedly going to change the entire women’s division.
At this time, the focus is supposed to be on Nia who is getting a push in the title picture. However, with this news being confirmed, it is almost sealed that the women’s roster is set to revolve around the former NXT Women’s champion. It would bring a massive freshness to the booking of this division.
