WWE News: Backstage Update On Renee Young After Cancellation Of Talking Smack 1

Renee Young joined the WWE roster in the year 2013 and rose to the fame with her charming personality. Apart from interviewing the superstars from both Raw and Smackdown, she had been given a wide range of tasks on both he shows like hosting the pre-show panels, own talk show and also the post-PPV talks-shows in the WWE.

Following the WWE Draft in 2016, she has been an exclusive property of the Smackdown brand with the Talking Smack show being given to her. The show became a huge hit with numerous controversial moments until it was cancelled by none other than Vince McMahon.

Apparently, he was very unhappy with the unscripted nature of the show and called it off the WWE Network. Although the WWE Universe protested against it on the social media, there has not been any intention to bring it back. Following this situation, there have been quite speculations with the status of Renee Young.

She took her Instagram handle to confirm that from now onwards, she will be working on both Raw and Smackdown. In the picture, the Total Divas-star seemed very excited to be reunited with the Raw host Charley Caruso. As per the quotes, they will be working together from now onwards. Apart from Raw, she will also have to appear on Smackdown, as well.

With that being said, Renee Young has now officially become a ‘free agent’ in the WWE, the second only after John Cena. This is the reason why we could spot her on both the weekly WWE programming, this past week. She conducted interviews with the Raw GM, Kurt Angle on Raw, whereas, on Smackdown, she talked with Shinsuke Nakamura with his dream match against John Cena.

This transition in the workplace is certainly going to mentally satisfy her since she would be able to catch-up with his husband, Dean Ambrose, more. During the Superstar Shakeup, she got split with him since Ambrose was brought to Raw. Renee might have been frustrated with it but the issue was finally addressed. It is rumoured that only one year of her WWE deal is left but hopefully she renews it and continues to do what she is doing for the company in the best way possible.
