WWE News: Batista Returning to WWE for One Last Run 1

As per the earlier reports, Batista was in talks with the WWE Boss, Vince McMahon to make a comeback to the company for one final run.

He had some of his conditions while making his way back like demanding a regular run or a feud against Triple H that might help him to hide his ring rust etc. It was thought to be a wild rumour, at that point which was wiped out with an update from Dave Meltzer.

The veteran wrestling journalist from Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently noted that Batista is quite serious about coming back to the WWE. He is determined to have one last run before calling it a quits in the pro-wrestling ring. So, we should not be surprised if he gets back to the squared circle, sooner especially at a time when the Wrestlemania season is approaching towards us.

The source suggested that Batista is likely to have this upcoming stint continue for at least six months which would be quite a long one considering he is bonafide future Hall of Famer and does not have to prove his capability to anybody. So, his schedule will definitely be different than that of Brock Lesnar or Goldberg, as he would also be working in the house shows, as well.

It might be a desperate move from Batista’s part that he wants to end his career on a sweet note. The former world champion had a bitter experience while leaving the company in 2014. The crowd turned on him and treated him badly during the entire run, as the officials find it difficult to book him as a babyface.

It was an effect of the YES movement from Daniel Bryan that overshadowed everything else in the company back then. So, The Animal was treated to put over Daniel Bryan at the grandest stage of them all.

Batista is more than willing to erase that memory with another stint, and it might just be a matter of time that Vince McMahon gives him a green signal for it. The most likely time for him to make the return would be at the Royal Rumble PPV that would allow him to start a storyline and receive a Wrestlemania match, as well.
