The Mixed Match Challenge contest is coming towards us from next week onwards. It will be hosted in a live format on Facebook from January 16th. The time slot chosen for it is right after Smackdown Live on next Tuesday. Multiple teams have been confirmed to participate in this contest, till date.
Recently, two more names were announced from WWE to team up together. Following this week’s WWE Raw, a poll was started on WWE.com asking as of who is going to be Bayley’s partner in the tournament. Three options were given in this place those were Elias, Jason Jordan, and Samoa Joe.

After counting the votes, it was declared that Samoa Joe was the winner overcoming his competitors by a huge margin. However, it is unfortunate that the heel superstar will not be able to participate in this contest to be held on Facebook.
The Samoan Submission Machine has suffered an injured leg while having the matchup on WWE Raw against Rhyno. After undergoing medical attention, the WWE doctors decided to put Joe away from in-ring competition as a result of which he would not be able to compete.

So, the second in line in the vote results, Elias has been chosen to team up with Bayley by the officials. Kurt Angle confirmed this pair which is quite an unlikely one. Check out the updates from WWE.com, here:

As you can see, the official website of the WWE predicted good results for this team, too. It is to be noted that Bayley wanted Finn Balor as her partner, previously. But, Kurt Angle has chosen Sasha Banks over her to pair up with him making the Hugger frustrated. As reported earlier, she also vented out frustrations over this. It will be interesting to see how these two deliver good performances.
