Smackdown women’s title picture has heated up in the past couple of weeks. The rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch has become so personal. The former best friends have now turned into bitter rivals. They could tear each other apart in any moment as seen in the last episode of Smackdown. The feud has now entered the real-life perspective, too.
Becky Lynch turned into a heel persona for this particular rivalry. So she is leaving no stones unturned to make her character believable. The biggest constraint of this character transformation is her popularity. This lady has never been a heel figure on the main roster. Rather, WWE established her as a natural babyface all the way.
Even the heel turn was quite natural where the fans could connect to Becky Lynch. Even they became frustrated considering the fact that the former Smackdown women’s champion never got the deserved spotlight. So the woman in concern is taking the heated feud to real-life and on the social media. Perhaps, this could generate the needed heat around her.

In a recent fan signing event, Becky Lynch shocked the present fans by showing true colors. She was signing the WWE superstars’ action figures. A fan came up with a box containing figures of Charlotte and Becky Lynch. She signed on her own action figure whereas putting a cross sign in front of the Smackdown women’s champion. It was a big X in the face of Charlotte.
WWE Universe mentioned her actions to be ‘absolute savage’. Becky Lynch also went right after Charlotte Flair on the social media. She posted a gif from this past edition of Smackdown where the champion was holding the title in hand. Mentioning the betrayal at Summerslam, Becky vowed to come after the gold. These two are likely to engage in a hellacious match in the near future, for sure.
Hell in a Cell PPV is coming up and who knows whether WWE intends to book these two ladies inside that steel structure. This would be the second-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match in the history of WWE. Meanwhile, we expect Becky Lynch to show up during this week’s Smackdown women’s championship match. She might want to cost Charlotte in the match.
A similar thing happened during a recent Smackdown live event in New York. Charlotte defended her title against Carmella successfully. But her winning celebration came to an abrupt end courtesy of Becky Lynch. She arrived to deliver a beatdown on the winner. Well, we expect a major fallout between these two when Smackdown airs this week. This should set up a much-anticipated matchup.
