Super Show Down event at Australia is getting more prominent on a weekly basis. We still have the Hell in a Cell PPV to go by in September. But promotions around the biggest live event in the history of the company are on. The headliner of the show will be a Wrestlemania rematch from two legendary performers. The Undertaker will take on against Triple H for one final time.
Now WWE has inserted the Bella Twins into the match card to hype Super Show Down even more. The famous duo will team up with none other than Ronda Rousey to fetch more mainstream attention. These three are major stars around the USA and the globe. Hence including them in a match would help to sell out the Super Show Down PPV.
Check out the official announcement from WWE.com,
“Adding to the growing list of must-see matchups for WWE Super Show-Down, the Australian pay-per-view will see Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey bring the torch Down Under as she teams with the returning Bella Twins to face off against The Riott Squad. Which team will claim victory at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia? Be sure to catch WWE Super Show-Down, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT on WWE Network.”
We should remember WWE has to sell out the Melbourne Cricket Ground to make Super Show Down a grand success. It has an official capacity of over 100000. Bella Twins appearing on the show will serve to millions of their fans all around the world. Plus, Ronda Rousey will be there to set up a future storyline, probably.
The rumour mill suggests Bella Twins might start a rivalry against Ronda Rousey that will culminate at Evolution. It should arrange a singles contest for Nikki Bella challenging Rousey for her championship. Well, this could be the main event of the all-women show. So the chances are high that Bella Twins might turn their back on ‘the baddest woman on the planet’ at Super Show Down.
The Shield is the newest inductee into the math card of Super Show Down apart from Bella Twins. The trio has reunited on WWE Raw following Summerslam. They have already got into a feud against Braun Strowman. The monster has found backup in the form of Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. This trio will be the opponent of the Shield at MCG,
“Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre, rivals to Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose, will join forces to battle The Hounds of Justice in Melbourne, Australia in a super-sized showdown between the most dominant team in WWE history and a veritable super-team comprised of some of Raw’s most talented competitors.”
If this announcement is any indication, then The Shield will continue their feud with the trio for the fall of 2019. Currently, Strowman has received his title opportunity against Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell. He will stop at nothing to destroy The Big Dog and The Shield to earn his first singles championship win in the WWE.
