Wrestlemania 34 has almost arrived. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome has been decorated, entirely for this special night which is considered to be the biggest night in all of sports entertainment.
With the match card that WWE is currently presenting to us, it’s hard not to get a memorable night. We have a series of big matchups on the card that could sell out the show, solely.
One of the much-anticipated matches in the evening would be the return of Daniel Bryan to in-ring competition. For the past couple of years, he’s been fighting to come back to the squared circle, tirelessly. Much to the pleasure of the entire WWE Universe, the good news of the clearance was given just before the Wrestlemania 34 PPV.
After this, he quickly got inserted into a storyline on Smackdown Live that culminated a huge tag team match at the ‘show of shows’. Daniel Bryan would team up with Shane McMahon to take on the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It is going to be a mouth-watering bout for the audience.
Furthermore, the leader of the YES Nation is returning to Wrestlemania at the same venue where he reached the top of his career, four years ago. So, we can only imagine how many ovations will be reserved for him. Even in the match, itself, there might be a big twist in-store that would make this one a success.
Apparently, a heel-turn is coming up at Wrestlemania that is not foreseen by the fans. According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Shane McMahon is going to turn on against Daniel Bryan that might cost the matchup to these two. Hence, Owens and Zayn would be able to retain their spots on the Smackdown roster. Plus, a new version of the commissioner would be seen on TV, going forward.
Check out the updates from the source,
“I do expect there to be a heel turn in the Bryan/McMahon tag against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, but the swerve has to be McMahon turning heel. In addition to completely rejuvenating McMahon’s character, this also allows the company to re-insert Bryan as the ultimate underdog trying to overcome the authority. That served as the formula for success, and there is no need to stray from such a lucrative storyline.”
The hint of this heel-turn had already been given on Smackdown TV when Shane and Daniel hugged it out on the go-home episode of Wrestlemania 34. It was a perfect setup for the heel-turn that no one would see coming up. Sweet revenge would be taken after as a result of the barriers created by Bryan for the past several months on the show. So, we would perhaps go toward a Bryan-McMahon rivalry.
