WWE News: Big Match Confirmed For Next Week’s Smackdown Live 1

The Road to Wrestlemania for Randy Orton has been made on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live. He has become the new United States Champion at the Fastlane PPV. So, it was evident that he would be heading into Wrestlemania 34 with the title around his waist. But, the question was against whom he is going to defend.

The question was answered when WWE announced that it would not be a singles match. Rather, the Apex Predator of the WWE will have to defend it simultaneously against both Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal. It is going to be a triple threat match, as per the source,

“Randy Orton hit his Grand Slam, and now Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal are looking to make the steal. The Apex Predator will defend his hard-won United States Championship at WrestleMania against both the Superstar he took it from and the Superstar who’s been waiting in the wings for months.

Meanwhile, The Viper will have an interesting path to get into the biggest event of the year on this upcoming Tuesday Night on Smackdown. He has the toughest job to do by teaming up with one of the opponents that will be gunning for his title at Wrestlemania. A huge tag team match has been made official where Randy Orton and Bobby Roode will take on the team of Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh.

This match was finalised after what transpired on this week’s edition of Smackdown Live. The Modern-day Maharaja was boasting about his two consecutive wins over Orton and Roode in the past two weeks. He was quickly interrupted by the former US champion who had enough of the trash talks.

Meanwhile, the champion, himself showed up pointing out that Jinder is nothing if it’s not for the Singh Brother standing beside him. Orton and Roode could not resist but to deliver an assault to Sunil Singh who will be seen in action alongside his mentor, next week. It is going to be after a long time that one-half of the Singh Brothers will be competing inside the ring.
