Last night’s WWE Raw opened with a big collision that set the mood for upcoming 2-3 months for the WWE. The Universal champion kicked off things with a huge a round of applause from the crowd alongside his advocate general, Paul Heyman. The latter one went onto cut a usual loud mouth promo about the championship win of his client at Summerslam.
However, it’s no secret that Brock Lesnar was manhandled by Braun Strowman during the title match at Summerslam. No one has put his status in jeopardy like the Mountain among men did at the biggest event of the summer. At one point, Lesnar was stretchered out of the arena which till date, was unthinkable. It happened due to Lesnar going through the announce table.
So, Strowman was in no mood of talking after showing up on Raw and went right after the conqueror. It is rare to see that Lesnar was unable to fight back. He was once again squashed by The Giant who delivered a big boot and then connected with his pendant move of running powerslams. Lesnar was in severe pain as Strowman left the ring.

Following this incident, the WWE Raw GM, Kurt Angle did not take a long time to announce the main event of the upcoming Raw-exclusive PPV, No Mercy. It will be Brock Lesnar defending his title against Braun Strowman in a singles contest on September 24th. It’s evident from WWE’s official announcement that major fireworks are being reserved for the show. Here’s how WWE.com confirmed the main event of No Mercy,
“Get ready for the roof to get blown off the Staples Center when Universal Champion Brock Lesnar locks horns with Braun Strowman at Raw’s exclusive No Mercy pay-per-view on Sunday, Sept. 24.
What will happen when The Beast Incarnate takes on The Monster Among Men? Find out at WWE No Mercy, Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on WWE Network.”
Apart from this one match, it was also announced that next week the Raw Women’s Championship will be on the line as Sasha Banks will defend it against Alexa Bliss at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. It is going to be the main event of the night, supposedly.
Plus, tomorrow night, on 205 Live, Akira Tozawa will get his Cruiserweight Championship rematch against Neville. The match was invoked as early as possible by the Titus Worldwide brand and got sanctioned by the Raw GM.
