There will be two traditional 5-on-5 tag team elimination matches at the Survivor Series PPV.
We received two big announcements about the men’s division matchups, this week. Kurt Angle was chosen as the team leader from WWE Raw, whereas, Shane McMahon volunteered his leadership for Smackdown Live.
For now, the blue team is almost set with four names already been confirmed from their side. Apart from Shane, there will be Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Bobby Roode. Team Raw has only one member, and that is none other than the GM, himself.
The former Olympic Gold Medalist did not wait till next week’s Raw to find a new partner for him. He was enough to announce on his Twitter handle that the second member of team Raw is going to be none other than the former number one contender for the Universal Championship, Braun Strowman.
@BraunStrowman came back last night in a MONSTROUS way. With that kind of impact, HE is my first choice for #TeamRaw at #SurvivorSeries.

The monster among men was sidelined from WWE TV after the TLC main event. He was destroyed by his team members, The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, and Kane. To the shock of the crowd, Strowman was put into the garbage truck to be taken out of the arena.
It was a cunning storyline perspective to make the behemoth persona turn into a babyface character, going forward. As a result, he made a triumphant return on the flagship show on this past edition. It was a delightful scene for the fans, as he chased down the three members of the Miztourage.
A devastating attack was followed after that, as Braun Strowman literally ended Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel’s career. The monster coming out of a death situation is considered to be a reckoning force and will be a treasure from team red.
Reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested that this kind of planning of letting Strowman involve into accidental situations will continue. He will keep coming back from unthinkable conditions to establish himself as a gigantic character in the WWE.
Strowman participating in the Survivor Series tag team match might not allow him to involve in a singles feud with Kane who was the main reason behind that attack at TLC. We are expected to find out the future storyline on next week’s Raw.
