WWE News: Big Names From Smackdown Might Switch To Raw 1

There’s a speculation in the rumour mill for quite a long time that suggests that the Superstar Shakeup will be back. The speculated schedule for it to happen is this fall once the Hell in a Cell PPV gets concluded. The first time it took place was just after Wrestlemania 33 to bring some freshness on the roster.

This also ensured the fact that we can witness some fresh feuds going forward for both the brands. To a great extent, the plans of the WWE creative was successful, and hence they intend to conduct it for a second consecutive time, in a year. Reports suggest that we can expect multiple big names from the Smackdown roster might be switched to Raw during this process.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, Kevin Owens is the first name who is expected to shift his brand. Following the Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon, he will stay under Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle on the red brand.

The creative heads are planning multiple angles for the finish of the main event match at the upcoming Smackdown-exclusive PPV. Stephanie McMahon might show up at the very end causing distractions for anyone between Shane & Owens to finally bring the latter one on the flagship show.

This would also ensure the much-anticipated return of the Raw commissioner on her show after a long time. She has previously involved during the segment between Vince McMahon and Kevin Owens for this sole reason.

Another big name who is rumoured to get shifted on Raw is none other than Jinder Mahal. The WWE Champion is supposed to get on Raw with the title in hand so that he can be present in India during the upcoming live event in the country. Jinder belonging to the blue brand might not allow him to get back to his native land in this December.

If these two names are moved to Monday Night Raw, then there will be a vice-versa process for Smackdown, as well. There is already a lack of star power on the show and Tuesday Nights needs a couple of major names from Raw to go forward.
