WWE News: Big Planning With Charlotte Flair On Smackdown Live 1

WWE intends to make Charlotte Flair the greatest champion in the history of the company. There might come a time when she would surpass her father’s reign of 16 world championships. Nobody in WWE career has been so dominant, consistently like she is.

Starting from mid-2015, the time of her main roster debut, she held the record of 16 straight singles PPV win which no one can brag about except for her. Also, in a span of one and a half year, she has become the then Divas and now Women’s champion on four different occasions. She is also the one to main event Raw, Smackdown and a WWE PPV.

With the statistics by her side, there’s no stopping for her in the near future. As per reports from The Observer, she will continue her dream run even on Smackdown Live, as well. During the superstar shakeup process, she was sent to the blue brand to keep variety in the storylines.

Soon, she will make a character change and turn into a babyface. She is expected to win the championship from Naomi in due course. This will ensure WWE’s intention to make her the face of the Smackdown women’s division for a long-term basis.

The only problem with this plan is the lack of heel opponents for her on the divisions. There’s not much heel available in the division who can match up to the Queen’s calibre. So, this might turn out to be a headache for the creative.

However, WWE might have started to plan how to tackle the deficiency with the formation of a new heel faction on Smackdown Live. As we have seen on this past week’s edition of the show, Natalya, Carmella, and Tamina teamed up to deliver a beat down to both Charlotte and Naomi.

This is a quite interesting move since nobody individually can reach to Charlotte’s level. But, being combined as a faction will portray them as an even stronger unit. The genetically superior athlete will counter the attacks from them, quite convincingly to take control of the women’s division, gradually.
