WWE News: Big Show to Return on Post-Summerslam Episode of RAW

Big Show has been out of action for almost a year now. The 2017-18 season turned out to be a gruelling timespan for numerous WWE superstars.

A string of names fell victim to injuries that forced them to be out of action for a long time. The name mentioned above was also one of them suffering a major concussion. It sent him to the sidelines for a significant time.

We do know that there are very few names on the active roster as veteran as Big Show. He is one of those names who is an Attitude Era original. His connection goes way back to the WCW days. Not many can claim to continue their career for over two decades. But this giant is still a well-oiled machine.

It’s worth to note that Big Show suffered a hip injury following last year’s Summerslam. It came as a result of his illustrious career in the pro-wrestling business. We have seen him being part of brutal battles over the years. Those affected his body to a major extent. It also fuelled up the rumours of his retirement.

However, it looks like Big Show is still not done with in-ring competition. Fans might think that his days are over as an active wrestler. But that’s not the case. The former WWE Champion appeared in an interview with ESPN to disclose his recovery process. He is eyeing to make a comeback once Summerslam passes by.

His comments clarified a return whenever the creative team has something in store for him. He was in a solid match against Braun Strowman for one last time. The new resident monster of the WWE put him through the steel cage to produce a storyline based hip injury. Here’s what the Giant offered for a return, (courtesy stillrealtous.com),

“Hopefully within the next couple of weeks, I will be back in the ring. That’s the main goal. I’m actually going to try and get cleared Sunday, by [WWE’s] doctors; moving around the ring a little bit. I could be back as soon as the Monday Night Raw after Summerslam if they have something for me. Just because I’m healthy, doesn’t mean our creative team is healthy for me yet.”

It is certain that Big Show had a long road while recovering from the concussion. However, he has never given up and got rid of a big amount of weight. We might not have seen him in such a slim figure in his entire career. So we can expect to see superior athleticism from him after the comeback happens.

Here’s what more he had to say about the recovery process,

“It’s been good for me because it’s taught me a lot of patience and a lot of endurance. I was able to maintain my training, weight loss, and diet and everything, through that immense struggle of everything I had to deal with.”
