Jun 17, 2018 at 7:02 PM
Daniel Bryan will compete in a match at the MITB PPV event. He failed to qualify for the ladder match. So WWE continued his feud against Big Cass for the next big event in WWE programming.
This is going to be their second singles contest in the feud. The babyface name won the first encounter happened at the Backlash PPV show.
Most of the fans do believe this ongoing feud is quite forceful. It is the first rivalry for Daniel Bryan after coming back to in-ring competition. Big Cass is not a matchup to his level who can deliver some big-time matches against him. So the planning could have been much better for the former world champion.
Bryan Alvarez discussed the situation in a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live. The positive part of his note is that the feud will end soon. The veteran journalist hinted WWE would end this feud on June 17th at the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois. A new and much-anticipated rivalry will kick-off from that point onwards.
WWE is planning to plant the seed for a big-time matchup for Summerslam at MITB. The source suggested that Daniel Bryan will end up losing this bout against Big Cass. The Miz will interfere in the upcoming contest costing his former nemesis this matchup. It will set up the match WWE Universe is waiting for.
Here is what the source has to offer,
“Bryan already won, very rarely do they do these feuds where one guy loses every single match. So I think Miz is interfering and costing Daniel Bryan the match to set up SummerSlam.”
Big Cass can level the score with the leader of the YES nation. It can elevate his level as a Smackdown superstar and help him to boost up his career. Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, will move towards the feud against the Hollywood A-lister.

There’s a chance that this match might turn out to be the main event of Summerslam in case Brock Lesnar remains absent. There’s no update on Lesnar’s next outing in the WWE. A bout between Bryan vs Miz can be a suitable replacement for the Universal Championship match.
