Speculations are running rampant about the future of Ronda Rousey in the WWE. Most of them suggest that her career as a full-time WWE Superstar is coming to an end after WrestleMania 35 this April. Neither WWE nor the superstar herself has gone on record to confirm anything on this. But it’s no secret that the former UFC Bantamweight Champion wants a break.

Ronda Rousey and her husband went berserk on Raw

She is eyeing to start a family for a long time, now becoming a mother. So it was a known fact that she was wrestling in the WWE on a borrowed time. Also, Ronda Rousey has never been part of such a hectic schedule during her UFC schedule. She never complained about it but her body might need a much-needed break.

Now the future advertisements of Ronda Rousey suggest that her full-time scheduled is inching closer to an end. As we move forward to Wrestlemania, the WWE Raw women’s champion will stop competing at the house shows. This ensures she will compete directly at the biggest event of the year on April 7th.

WWE’s current bookings suggest that Ronda Rousey will not perform in any house shows following the March 17th RAW live event. This took place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which should be the final show featuring her on the match card. Only Wrestlemania will witness her in a one-off match after this.

However, WWE has enlisted Ronda Rousey for every episode of Monday Night RAW till the RAW after ‘Mania (April 8th, 2019) in New York. But quite expectedly, she is not being advertised in even a single show following this. It does come as a confirmation that she will bid adieu to the WWE Universe once the extravaganza culminates.

But sources also claim that Ronda Rousey has a contract with the WWE until 2021. So this should only be a hiatus for the time being. She might continue to work in the company on a part-time basis, afterward. We will receive confirmations on this only after Wrestlemania season passes by.

Whatever the future holds for her, Ronda Rousey indeed turned out to be a trailblazer during her stint as a wrestler. She is the only woman to win a UFC as well as a WWE Championship. As we all know, she was a former Bantamweight Champion who went on to capture WWE Raw women’s championship in WWE. Plus, she managed to hold an undefeated streak for a year that is no less than an accolade.
