Plus, one former women’s champion could be present on that night who is none other than Sasha Banks.

The four-time Raw women’s champion has been on a hiatus from the WWE ever since Wrestlemania 35 has passed by. The latest episode of Monday Night Raw has Sasha Banks Offered A Huge WWE Deal For Comeback“>created the chances of her return at Extreme Rules so that WWE could use her at Summerslam.

It was a shift from the original lineup of Bayley vs. Bliss, as announced earlier. Plus, Cross also wanted Bayley that she needs to find a friend who will have her back and talk some sense into her.

Needless to say, this fuelled up the return of Sasha Banks in a predictable way for the WWE Universe. Rumors are running rampant that The Boss will finally come back to the scene after a long hiatus. Additionally, future advertisements also hint that the return seems imminent. The host venue of Summerslam included Sasha Banks in the list of superstars who will perform in that night.

Whether these are sure-shot indications that one of the most popular superstars are indeed returning to the WWE, a veteran wrestling journalist opposed the idea. Dave Meltzer speculated that Sasha Banks may not return at Extreme Rules. Backstage reports suggest that the officials have still not locked this to happen on this Sunday night, (via 411mania.com)

Meltzer added that the return is still in a determined state breaking hearts for the Sasha Banks fans. So the capacity around the women’s title match remains interesting as we wait for Extreme Rules.
