WWE News: Bigger Women’s Championship Match Announced for No Mercy PPV

We already know that there will be a fatal-4-way match in store for the No Mercy PPV for the Raw Women’s Championship. The champion Alexa Bliss will have to defend her title against three other competitors, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, and Emma. But, after what transpired on last night’s WWE Raw, we have got an additional opponent into the match making it even bigger.

Last night’s WWE Raw got hosted at the Sap Center in San Jose, California which was the hometown of Bayley. So, the creative team could not find a better opportunity to bring her back into the mix. While Sasha Banks was on the receiving end of a beat down from Nia Jax, The Hugger came out of nowhere to a huge reception from her hometown crowd.

She was out of the in-ring competition after suffering a shoulder injury at the hands of Nia Jax before the Summerslam which took her out from the Women’s title match at the event. So, she went right after the big lady and received appreciation from the crowd. By working together with The Boss, she was able to shove her off the ring and turned their attention to Alexa Bliss.

The champion tried to make an ally with them seeing that she got outnumbered. But, Banks and Bayley did know that Bliss is not their friend, and so delivered a statement. Banks hit her with the kick, whereas, Bayley connected with a Bayley-to-belly to end the segment. The crowd was quite excited to see this surprise return from the babyface superstar.

Also, just after the segment went-off the air, Bayley was inserted into the Women’s title match to make it a fatal-5-way affair. WWE.com confirmed the same by posting the following:

“Alexa Bliss will look to retain her Raw Women’s Championship against incredible odds when “The Goddess” battles Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Emma in a Fatal 5-Way Match at No Mercy. Who will walk out of WWE No Mercy with the Raw Woman’s Title? Find out this Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on award-winning WWE Network.”
