Bobby Lashley is often considered as one of the strongest pro-wrestling athletes. He started his career in the WWE as a mid-card superstar.
Starting from 2005, this man won a number of mid-card titles in the company. One of his biggest accolades was to compete at Wrestlemania 23 as the representative of current United States president, Donald Trump, against Umaga who fought for Vince McMahon.
It happened in the year 2007 after which he decided to move away from the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the year and found much success. The very next year, he left WWE and earned more fame as a coveted wrestler under the Impact Wrestling promotion’s banner. He became a multi-time world champion to carry the company.
Also, the former Intercontinental Champion continued his stint in becoming an MMA performer. it took him to the same level to that of Brock Lesnar. It certainly gave birth to a fantasy matchup between these two premier athletes which never happened. Both of them belonged to different promotions which were the main reason behind it.
However, things are going in a positive direction, and we might just get it after Wrestlemania gets over. In a recent report of Bin Hamin from the Vince Russo Brand Podcast, it was revealed Bobby Lashley is set to return to the WWE on the night of Wrestlemania or the post-Wrestlemania night on Monday Night Raw in New Orleans.
Bin Hamin is said to be connected to the insider source of the WWE. Hence, this update can be declared as the confirmation of the big name returning to the company after over a decade. The rumours were there of his comeback for the last several months. Thankfully, the fans might just witness on the post-Wrestlemania night where a lot of debut or returns do happen.

“While no further details have been mentioned, it is clear that WWE would want to head into a Lashley-Lesnar direction, going forward. WWE has often been accused of not giving fans what they want, and they can right a wrong with this decision.”
The speculations were always there of Bobby Lashley returning to the WWE, once his contract was over with Impact Wrestling promotion. This happened just prior to the Wrestlemania season which is why he was taken back to WWE TV as proper storyline angle was not reserved for him. Now that he is coming back, Brock Lesnar is supposed to get a worthy opponent for him once the biggest event of the year gets over.
