WWE News: Braun Strowman Injured, Might Miss Extreme Rules PPV 1

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman had a brutal match at the Payback PPV. Both men took their opponents to the limit by the end of the contest. The finishing was so disturbing with Reigns coughing out blood after he was punished by his bitter rival.

Also, Strowman did damage himself to a certain extent by going after Reigns following the match. He took out a door of the ambulance standing there by his shoulder. This led to the rumours of both men suffering concussions after the match.

The sources suggested that both the men suffering injury were not legit and was shown as a television angle. This was the reason that both of them appeared on Raw, last night. Reigns confronted and capitalised on Braun Strowman by attacking him with a series of chair attacks.

Now, after last night’s attack Pro-wrestling sheet came up with a new update on Strowman which says that he is dealing with a legit injury. This might sideline him from in-ring competition for quite a while.

A torn shoulder rotator cuff was supposed to be the injury. However, the source hinted that he picked a rupture on either his shoulder or elbow. This was the reason that he was spotted with the sleeve on Raw.
The injury is still not being considered as a serious one since he was able to perform in the ongoing UK tour for the live events. Although, a few medical procedures are left still following which he might miss four to eight weeks of WWE TV.

If this count starts from last night then it’s certain that he will be unable to perform at the next Raw-exclusive PPV, Extreme Rules. We are exactly four weeks away from the PPV which will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on June 4th.

This is not the concrete update, however, regarding the Braun Strowman situation. He was supposed to main event the above-mentioned PPV against Reigns in an ambulance match. A win was reserved for him there in order to push him into the Universal title picture scene against Brock Lesnar. If the injury indeed sidelines him for the next few weeks then the creative has to come up with a new plan.
