Brock Lesnar is all over the internet at this time due to the ‘contract negotiation’ topic. He was not present in the WWE for the past few months. It made the fans quite furious now that the prime title is out of the picture for quite sometimes. But the controversial topic kept him a matter of discussion for the past few weeks ahead of the Summerslam.

We do know that Brock Lesnar had re-signed with the WWE following Wrestlemania. But WWE never released the exact details of the deal between the two parties. The rumours said it was a short-time deal that is set to expire after Summerslam. He is going back to the UFC after competing in the biggest event of the summer.

However, it is still not made official by the WWE Raw general manager. Instead, the champion has invoked some clauses present in his contract and cancelled a number one contender’s match at the Extreme Rules PPV. This seemed unthinkable to the pro-wrestling fans.

However, the biggest-box-office attraction of the WWE will be present at Summerslam. Brock Lesnar will appear at the biggest event of the summer for a Universal Championship defence against Roman Reigns. Plus, he will follow up with another appearance on the very next night in Brooklyn, New York.

It might wipe out the situation where Brock Lesnar leaves the WWE after Summerslam. Previous reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave updates there are chances that he might go back to the MMA industry. There’s a high possibility that Brock challenges for the UFC Heavyweight Championship shortly.

But for that, he would have to pass the medical test conducted by the USADA. The suspension put in the year in 2016 is going on still. Despite this source hinted that Brock Lesnar might return to his former employer at the end of this year,

“The Observer now reports that Lesnar may or may not have unretired and reentered the USADA testing pool before June 29th, 2018—which, should he have entered, would legally allow him to compete at UFC 232 which is the final UFC PPV event of the 2018 calendar year.”

It might be just another confirmation of Brock Lesnar staying in the WWE even after Summerslam. His UFC comeback doesn’t allow him to have a match all of a sudden. It is why he might have to stay under the WWE contract in the following months.
