Brock Lesnar is heading back to MMA going by last night’s UFC event. The biggest MMA promotion in the world conducted a PPV event in Las Vegas.

The T-Mobile Arena witnessed a UFC Heavyweight Championship match between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic. In the end, Cormier was victorious to win his second championship.

Now the rumours were already there that Brock Lesnar is present backstage during this bout. Proving it right, the current Universal Champion came out in public. It just fuelled up the speculations of his return to the Octagon at a later point of the year.

Once the match was over, Cormier spotted Brock Lesnar and issued a straight challenge to him. The current WWE superstar dared to enter the cage and confronted Cormier to a huge applaud from the crowd. Not only he stood face to face but also pushed the current UFC Heavyweight Champion to issue a warning.

The referees and official separated them after a heated verbal confrontation broke out. Cormier pushed back Brock Lesnar stating,

“Push me now; you go to sleep later”. Lesnar hit back calling him “pieces of s–t”.

Furthermore, he confirmed the bout between the two of them is waiting shortly.

All of these were happening at the same time when WWE was conducting a live event at the Madison Square Garden Arena. All the behemoth names including Ronda Rousey and Undertaker performed on the show to entertain the fans.

But Brock Lesnar once again proved that he does not care about the WWE by dodging the WWE show.

Meanwhile, this appearance at UFC also put his WWE career in jeopardy. We are in doubts whether he would step into a WWE ring ever again.

Summerslam should be the next outing for him, but then again his contractual obligations are going on with WWE officials. The number one contender’s match at Extreme Rules is no more present on the match card. So till date, WWE failed to make Brock Lesnar agreeing on a future appearance.

Things could not be worse for the Universal Championship right now. The prime title is absent from the scene since April. It will lose complete relevance, if not brought back at the earliest.
