WWE News: Brock Lesnar Moving To Another Sports Post-WWE

Brock Lesnar has overcome the roadblock put in front of him for the 2016-17 season, named Goldberg. His dominance was shattered by the returning Myth after he destroyed the beast incarnate in just 1 minute and 26 seconds at Survivor Series. Furthermore, he was also eliminated by the former WCW franchise in the Royal Rumble match.

However, this only had set up the final clash between these two at Wrestlemania 33 where he regained his confidence by winning it. He took the former Universal champion to the Suplex City to become the new prime champion of the Raw brand.

In case you don’t know, Brock Lesnar is currently going through his final season in the WWE. His contract with the WWE will be over, next year. Hence, this was the final time he was given the championship to build his legacy as the biggest heel of the company. There’s no surety whether Lesnar would like to renew his WWE contract or not.

Going by the recent comments from Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, it is possible that Lesnar signing a new deal with the company is not expected. Heyman joined in a recent episode of Fight Society Podcast to discuss the conqueror’s future. He went on to say that Lesnar’s commitment for the pro-wrestling business amazes him. So, it would not be surprising for him, if he intends to join another sport in the near future.

The sneaky advocate pointed out the fact that his client has conquered Goldberg to become the top superstar in the WWE. He has already reached a position where anybody has the ability to topple him. So, a time might be coming soon when he will be looking forward to a whole new league where he can find new challenges put in front of him.

Take a look at Heyman’s comments from the interview:
“I really can’t tell you that it’s out of the realm of possibility of Brock Lesnar to say ‘I’m taking a few months off from WWE, I want to see how many home runs I can hit for the Minnesota Twins.’
I think what’s next for Brock Lesnar besides what’s happening in WWE. Could it be UFC? Could it be another sport? I think it’s something he’s going to look at and say ‘I bet no one thinks I can do that, all right I’m going to conquer that’.”
