Brock Lesnar shocked the WWE Universe by appearing at Hell in a Cell. There was no way that the fans were expecting him at the PPV event. He is no more working in the biggest pro-wrestling promotion anymore, as per the contract. Reports suggested the deal between WWE and The Beast has expired following Summerslam.

However, there was a hint that Brock Lesnar might continue to work in WWE programming. There will be some bigger shows in the PPV calendar shortly. Especially, Saudi Arabia made a new deal with the WWE that guarantees to produce more significant events like WWE Greatest Royal Rumble at least for a couple of times in a year. It is why Crown Jewel PPV is now official in November.

WWE booked Brock Lesnar in this particular show all of a sudden which is quite surprising. No reports suggested we could expect him to feature in the Saudi Arabia show. But it is happening. The question remains why the prizefighter will appear in an event outside the United States. Furthermore, how he can do so without being in a contract with the WWE?

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an update on this situation. He mentioned that Saudi Arabia sports authority is paying a considerable amount of money to each of the marquee names of the WWE roster. Brock Lesnar is one of them who can expect to receive around 1 million dollars for just a few hours presence.

Now that’s a lucrative deal that someone could barely miss, (courtesy Sportskeeda.com),

“Dave Meltzer is reporting that Brock Lesnar’s shock return last night was to build towards an appearance at the upcoming WWE live event in Saudi Arabia. The event, which looks set to take place on November 2nd, is looking for big names and Lesnar will reportedly be paid a staggering seven figures for his appearance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

Reports also suggest WWE is making more money from Saudi Arabia show rather than Wrestlemania or Summerslam. So they will be pulling out all the stops to please the fans. Brock Lesnar is the biggest box office attraction which is why his presence is must at WWE Crown Jewel PPV. The situation is somewhat where Brock Lesnar can demand whatever money he wants for one single appearance.

The source also emphasised the fact that Brock Lesnar will not sign a full-time contract with the WWE. Instead, he will be doing only PPV appearances, as per choice to earn fat paychecks. So, for now, Crown Jewel PPV remains the next stop for him. A triple threat Universal Championship match is set for the Saudi Arabia show. Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman will be the two other opponents in the match.
