WWE News: Brock Lesnar Will Not Feature At WWE Fastlane PPV
As reported earlier, the entire appearance schedule for Brock Lesnar en route to Wrestlemania season was released by the WWE. His season began with the maiden appearance in 2017 during the January 16 episode of Monday Night Raw in Little Rocks, Arkansas. He’ll be following it up with a number of more appearances heading to Wrestlemania.
In contrast to past few years, Lesnar is scheduled to appear in almost every episode of Raw, going forward. He’s been excluded from the February 13 episode since he’ll not be allowed to perform in the state of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is facing suspension from the State of Nevada after being tested positive in the samples that were given before his MMA fight with Mark Hunt.
This suspension was further accepted by United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) by virtue of which he can’t perform in any MMA fights in 2017. This might be the sole reason that he’ll be used more in the WWE programming, supposedly. So, it was expected that he will also be making more PPV appearances. But, allwrestlingnews.com has suggested something very different.
It stated that Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to feature at the Fastlane PPV. This is going to be the next Raw-exclusive PPV on March 5. Since this is going to be the last stop before Wrestlemania, the beast’s presence was almost evident to set up his showdown at the biggest stage. But since the WWE’s schedule also does not advertise him for the show, his chances can be wiped out for now.
This also indicates that the rumored match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar is intact to take place at Wrestlemania i.e. as per the original schedule. Goldberg was added to the Fastlane match card fuelling up the speculations that the mega match might be preponed to the next Raw-exclusive PPV.
However, this might not be the case anymore. Goldberg might set up a match against Roman Reigns or a team up with him at Fastlane.
