WWE News: Brock Lesnar’s intention was not to break the Undertaker’s streak at Wrestlemania 1

The whole world got shocked at the Superdome in New Orleans, Los Angeles when Brock Lesnar broke the greatest streak in the history of Sports Entertainment. On that night, after the unthinkable happened the entire arena got pin-dropped silence. Even the beast incarnate himself, got shocked by the outcome of the result.
Recently, WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels attended an event called ‘An Evening with Shawn Michaels’ in the UK which was hosted by the former WWE announcer, Jim Ross. They both discussed that particular match from Wrestlemania 30 from the year 2014. JR asked Shawn if he supported the decision of WWE creative who took the decision by that night that the streak will no longer continue. Both, Shawn and JR agreed that they did not want to see the streak getting ended like that in the hands of the Brock Lesnar.
JR revealed the fact that Brock Lesnar himself was not intending to break the streak, on his own hands. He even agreed to digest a pinfall at the hands of the Deadman at the grandest stage of them all. But, in the end, WWE creative’s decision is the final and Lesnar had to agree with it.

After that shocking incident took place at that night, Lesnar himself was upset and left the arena as early as possible after the match got concluded. The Deadman was taken to the hospital after getting the beatdown from the beast incarnate. The mood of the whole crowd and the entire locker room got changed from that point onwards.
There was a planning to celebrate Daniel Bryan’s championship win, later the night with all the legends. But, since the mood was not good at all in the locker room and around the fans, that night, the program got cancelled. Till date, many of the fans still believe that Undertaker could not raise his shoulder to avoid the pinfall. However, it is not true since it was the creative’s decision who decided to end the streak to establish Brock Lesnar as the bonafide heel in WWE.
