Till date, WWE has confirmed multiple names to appear on the WWE Raw 25th anniversary. It is going to be the biggest show of the entire year, perhaps with a big celebration that will require two different venues to host. WWE has never hosted the show live from two different arenas, before this making this one a worth-watching affair.
It is to be noted that apart from the official names those were confirmed by the company, there will be numerous other names that might appear on the show, as well. Over the years, Monday Night Raw had witnessed a plenty of superstars under their banner that made it a global phenomenon today. Hence, most of them will like to be a part of this historic celebration.
A recent report from Mike Johnson from PWInsider.com has suggested that another former world champion has recently been confirmed to appear on WWE Raw 25th anniversary. He is a two-time world champion and a nine-time tag team champion, Christian. According to the source, he is recently added to the list of superstars who will grace the show on January 22nd.
Christian was last seen on WWE programming in 2014. Back then, the veteran superstar was dealing with multiple injuries he had an ‘on-off’ stint for quite sometimes before going into permanent hiatus. Before going out, he received a number of opportunities to the world title. Later, he stayed under a WWE contract that allowed him to feature in the Edge & Christian show on the WWE Network.
This leads to the inevitable question that whether we will be seeing his buddy and WWE Hall of Famer, Edge on the show, as well. However, the source confirmed he would not be present on the show. He will be out of the country on that night not allowing to give a much-anticipated return for the Edgeheads.
However, the list of the returnees formed to be quite a big one which is as follows,
“Trish Stratus, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, The APA, The Dudley’s, Nikki & Brie Bella, The New Age Outlaws, Degeneration X, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Eric Bischoff, Chris Jericho, Sgt. Slaughter, Ted DiBiase, The Boogeyman, Brother Love, Teddy Long, John Laurinaitis, The Godfather, X-Pac, “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Kelly Kelly, Jacqueline, Terri Runnels, Michelle McCool, Maria Kanellis, and Torrie Wilson.”
