The fans of CM Punk were eagerly waiting for his second UFC fight. The capacity was much higher this time around. He fought one time only under this banner in 2014 and came up with the worst performance of his life.
Mickey Gall knocked him out in just two minutes and 16 seconds. The devastating loss kept CM Punk out of the equation for almost four years.
There were never any doubts about the wrestling abilities of CM Punk. But some of his critics doubted that he does not possess the same skills for MMA fighters. He needed a second chance to prove all of them wrong in his second fight. It took place on June 9th in his hometown of Chicago.
The chances of a maiden win increased after CM Punk won the first round against Mike Jackson. But the latter one fired back in the remaining two rounds and overcame the odds. It handed the former WWE Champion the straight second loss of his career.
In all seriousness, CM Punk is the worst fighter I’ve ever seen in the UFC.
That is all.

It is not just coming up short against his opponent for CM Punk. It was much more than that for him. The UFC promotion gave him a second chance to be relevant in MMA career. But this failure might have ended his stint in this industry as well.
Twitter exploded once this happened. None of the UFC fans seemed happy about Punk’s MMA skills. So the loss did not surprise them at all.
WWE commentator, Corey Graves went one step ahead on this account and took some jabs on the former straight edge leader. You can check the below-given tweets from him,
Maybe abandoning everybody who stood by your side, even when we weren’t supposed to, only to have you turn your back on us wasn’t the right move after all? No anger. Only sadness.

Awww. Seems the “fans” are disappointed. Maybe you guys should know that “That Dude” held my first son before I did because I was on tour and I trusted him.
I had dinner with him the week after he quit.

Don’t worry, hey @VinceMcMahon this has nothing to do with you.
You either @TripleH

Some of the members of WWE Universe were more than angry after CM Punk turned his back on the fans. They pledged for a comeback from him following his exit in 2014.
He not only wiped out all of those but did not even listen to them properly. Nasty words are bound to come to him now that it’s a tough time for him.
