For the last couple of weeks, several names are floating around the rumor mill as part of WWE returns. Due to the WWE Draft, the roster is split into two halves and mostly filled up with fresh talents. To putting over those talents, what’s better idea to bring back some veterans in the business?
As per previous reports, MVP, Zinder Mahal, Shelton Benjamin, The Great Khali, Curt Hawkins and more was intended to making their return. WWE has already aired vignette regarding the return of Shelton Benjamin while Zinder has already shown up on Monday Night Raw. The recent rumors suggest that Vince McMahon is keen to bring back the former Intercontinental champion, John Morrison to WWE.
According to a report of DailyWrestlingNews.com, the name is being considered by the officials, as of late. Alongside him, his girlfriend and former WWE Divas champion Melina is also contacted for a comeback. If this report is any indication they should show up in the company before 2016 comes to an end.
John Morrison is currently having a stint under Lucha Underground. During his time in WWE, he was popular for his high flying actions in the ring. He became a 5-time tag team champion as well as a 3-time Intercontinental champion.
In addition, there’s a bad news from Shelton Benjamin whose return is now being postponed due to injury. The former WWE superstar took his Twitter handle to let us know that he has to undergo a surgery due to a torn rotator cuff. This is the same issue that cost John Cena five months in his career during this year’s beginning.
I am both disappointed & sadden to announce that due to a serious injury to my shoulder I will not be returning to @WWE at this time.

Since his returning promo has already aired in Smackdown Live, the possibility is that he was detected with the injury while going through the routine medical check-ups before WWE medical personnel in Pittsburgh. With that being said, he will not be returning to the company in this year. The injury is likely to take some more months from him in the next year, as well.
