Over the past few weeks, the career of Luke Harper and Eric Rowan has been stuck in a stagnant position. They were part of the creative storyline when Bray Wyatt was present in the Smackdown Live. Ever since The Eater of the World was shifted on Monday Night Raw, their career too went into jeopardy.
Prior to Wrestlemania 33, Luke Harper decided to disjoin himself from the Wyatt family. It enabled a ‘singles-push’ for him that even pushed him into the championship picture for a couple of weeks. He was able to establish himself as a mid-card babyface. However, after Mania passed by, he was written off from TV indicating a lack of planning.
On the other hand, Eric Rowan returned by the side of his mentor, Bray Wyatt occupying the vacant place of Harper. He had returned from an ankle injury and hence aligning himself with Wyatt was an essential thing for him. But, with his mentor shifting the brand, it looks like WWE creative has to come up with proper planning for these two behemoths.
Recently, these two were spotted working against each other in the WWE house shows which led to the speculation that a rivalry between them might be planned on Smackdown. However, considering that this feud has been seen previously, a repetition might not take place.
Another speculation came around which suggested that these two might forget all the differences between them and team up again. Back when the Wyatt family was intact, they were stronger than ever. Now that the tag team division of Smackdown Live is lacking depth, it would be a proper storyline for them.
But, reports from Inquisitr.com stated that WWE creative is not worried at all with planning around these two. They are rather looking concerned about the stars on the main event. It will be indeed bad news for them with some random bookings coming ahead.
Luke Harper is the worst victim of this blunder. He almost reached to the main event of Wrestlemania 33 by competing in the number one contender’s match. But, far from that spotlight, he landed into a state doing almost nothing. At this time, they need to be patient and keep faith in the writers of the blue brand.
They are trustworthy to come up with something new for these two in the near future.
