Many of the pro-wrestling fans believe that Daniel Bryan is the greatest wrestler all over the world. He is not only a veteran in-ring talent but a great talker, too. We saw a glimpse of his capability, last night. We could not agree more with these opinions after the verbal skills he showed on two different occasions. This solidified his position as the best heel in WWE today. We can say it even considering that there’re Drew McIntyre, The Miz or Samoa Joe on the roster.

The reason behind Daniel Bryan heel-turn

First of all, Daniel Bryan has turned heel just a couple of weeks ago. He was a universal babyface figure prior to this villainous turn. This earned him some automatic cheers on Smackdown even after the character transition happened. Well, the crowd attending the show in Austin, Texas did not find a single reason to cheer him after the Miz TV segment.

This was the first time ever that the natural heel was interviewing a heel Daniel Bryan on Smackdown. While talking about the low blow to AJ Styles, the WWE Champion showed the fans pointing that they do countless sins, each day. But they gain nothing. On his case, he received the most coveted title in the sports entertainment. Once again he mocked the YES movement where he used to listen to the idiotic fans for no good.

He called the crowd fickle for a couple of times and played with them over the YES or NO chants. It was absolutely a solid promo from the GOAT which ended with a conclusion. It says the theoretical knowledge of the old with the wisdom and brutality of the new Daniel Bryan.

That was not enough of his mic skills on Smackdown from Austin. Daniel Bryan joined the commentary table for the main event match between AJ Styles and The Miz. His rants on the fans and his verbal takedown of Byron Saxton was so good that we almost forgot that there’s a match going on.

After the match, a brutal assault followed by Daniel Bryan on AJ Styles. This exposed the vicious side of the current champion on Smackdown. We have seen the babyface side of him for a long time. This upside-down character has been rare side on the programming. His antics force us to want more of this heel side. The effect is much more as he is playing with our mind rather the other heels who show physical dominance.

With that being said, it may be evident that Daniel Bryan will have a long championship run in-store. This might lead to a lengthy championship reign all the way to Wrestlemania 35.
