Smackdown Live could not have a better opening last night setting the tone for Hell in a Cell. Daniel Bryan and The Miz continued their rivalry in the most exciting way possible. They now have their real-life partners by their side that will help to culminate a match at Hell in a Cell. It’s now official that the mixed tag team action will take place at the upcoming PPV, courtesy of the Smackdown GM.

The Miz kicked off this week’s Smackdown with a mourning announcement. His wife, Maryse also accompanied him to the ring. They both mocked the way Daniel Bryan lost at Summerslam. Despite the efforts shown by the once retired superstar, he failed to come up with the win. It was a must-win match for him that he lost.
So the heel one wanted to take retirement from in-ring competition (from competing against Daniel Bryan only)!!! You could only imagine how disgusting his comments were on the opening segment on Smackdown,
“Don’t get me wrong, Daniel Bryan gave me everything he had. He punched me 100 times. But 100 Daniel Bryan punches don’t amount to one Miz punch. You are looking at the hardest punch in WWE.”

Daniel Bryan came out on the ramp to shut him up addressing him as a coward. He continued to say so until Brie Bella appeared in the ring. It was after almost three years that she returned on Smackdown TV to give accompany to her husband. She slapped the taste out of Miz’s mouth, right away. Daniel Bryan sent him out of the ring and gave him a blockbuster news.
As per the instructions of Smackdown general manager, Paige, Daniel Bryan will get another shot against The Miz. He will team up with his wife, Brie Bella to take on against the IT couple of the WWE. The Miz tried to cancel the match later. But WWE.com confirmed this match with the official statements,
“At WWE Hell in a Cell, Daniel Bryan will team with his returning wife Brie Bella against the nefarious combination of The Miz his wife Maryse. Find out which husband and wife will be victorious at WWE Hell in a Cell, Sunday, Sept. 16, at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network!”
