WWE News: Daniel Bryan Gives a Spoiler of Clash of Champions Main Event

The Clash of Champions PPV will be hosted on this Sunday at the TD Gardens Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. It has a stacked card that got confirmed following this week’s edition of Smackdown Live. It will feature dual main events with the first one being the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal. It will be a rematch between the two.

On the other hand, a tag team action will take place between Randy Orton-Shinsuke Nakamura and Kevin Owens-Sami Zayn. Shane McMahon was the special guest referee for the match, whereas, Daniel Bryan was confirmed to be the second guest referee on Smackdown Live. The interesting part of this match is that if Owens and Zayn came up losing, then they will lose their job from all of the WWE.

With the tensions going around this feud with the author figures getting involved, the stakes are an all-time high. There are rumours running rampant that this might lead us to a potential Daniel Bryan vs Shane McMahon feud, as well. However, we still don’t know, whether WWE would clear the Smackdown general manager to compete in the ring or not.

In the meantime, we definitely got a spoiler about the outcome of the match. Recently, WWE announced the Mixed Match Challenge contest where some of the male and female superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will team up to have some matches. The contests will be streaming on Facebook from January 16th. Daniel Bryan has revealed the Smackdown Live roster which is as follows:

SmackDown Live: Becky Lynch, Bobby Roode, Carmella, Charlotte, Jimmy Uso, Lana, Naomi, Natalya, Rusev, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura.

As you can see, Sami Zayn will be one of the superstars representing the blue brand in this tournament. It certainly indicates that his job on Smackdown will still be intact by winning the upcoming tag team matchup at Clash of Champions PPV.

The WWE bookings also suggest the same since both Owens and Zayn are getting advertised for the near future live events conducted by Smackdown.

Rumours are there that Daniel Bryan will be the one to save these two’s jobs who are the victim of the personal vendetta of the Shane McMahon. But, that will force him to feel the wrath of the Smackdown commissioner.
