WWE News: Daniel Bryan returning On Smackdown Live, This Week 1

After months of waiting, the first child of Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan arrived on May 9th. This was one of the much-anticipated births in the history of pro-wresting history. The Bella Twins kept us updated with all the latest news available related to their baby to hype up the occasion, even more. The baby was named Birdie Joe Danielson.

Daniel Bryan is absent from Smackdown Live from almost the post-Wrestlemania season for the same reason. He intended to stay by her wife’s side during this labor time and has not left her for once. This is the reason why we have not seen her on the Tuesday Night show for a couple of months now.

His absence was possible since his WWE contract let him do so. Prior to leaving, he stated that once her daughter comes into the family, he wants to enjoy parenthood and will take a leave for an indefinite time. He will not be back until he feels so.

As per the recent reports from cagesideseats.com, Bryan’s word was quite true, until now when he dropped a tweet. With this one, he declared to be back on Smackdown in this upcoming episode to carry on his role of the Smackdown Live General Manager.

In his absence, Shane McMahon was running things on the Smackdown Live show. With bigger announcements, almost every single week, we have not felt the absence of Daniel Bryan, so much. However, we do miss his presence in the Talking Smack show alongside Renee Young.

We can just speculate that he might be back since the buildup for Summerslam will begin soon. It is the second biggest night of the year. Also, it will mark the 30th anniversary of the event and WWE will look to bring as much star power possible for it.

But, the association between WWE and Daniel Bryan is likely to end soon since his contract is up in 2018. With WWE not allowing him to wrestle, he surely intends to move forward in life exploring other opportunities outside the WWE.
