WWE News: Daniel Bryan vs The Miz Announced for UK Tour 1

The Superstar Shakeup edition of 2018 has turned out to be quite interesting.

The Smackdown Live brand might have benefitted from it way better than the flagship show. Over the pre-Wrestlemania season, the brand lacked some of the prime names in the scenario which should be made up with the newest acquisitions.

Now, one of the most heated rivalries from Smackdown Live brand is all set to get reinstated now that the Miz has been traded to the blue brand.

As confirmed earlier by the WWE Raw general manager, Kurt Angle, he traded the Hollywood A-lister to the ‘land of opportunity’. Daniel Bryan, the former GM of the show made a special request to make this shift happen.

Now that, this demand was granted, the WWE Universe will get to see the dream feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan. For the last couple of years, the ‘most must-see’ WWE Superstar of all-time, traded jabs to the former World Champion taking advantage of his incompetent state.

They had quite a heated verbal rivalry for the better part of 2016-17 season.

Owing to this, the leader of the YES movement wanted to punch in the face of The Miz for a long time. Now, he will get to do the same, as both of them belongs to the same brand. The superstar who had just come out of retirement at the bygone edition of Wrestlemania, sent out a tweet to get this opportunity to compete in a ring against the eight-time Intercontinental Champion.

To the delight of the WWE fans, the match has now been officially sanctioned to take place. It will take place at the upcoming United Kingdom tour of the WWE in May. On three different nights in Liverpool, Newcastle & Sheffield, these two will be seen in singles matches. Starting from May 10th, WWE will kick-off the United Kingdom tour.

Meanwhile, The Miz chose to keep himself off from last week’s Smackdown Live. In a pre-taped video message, he informed the WWE Universe that he is relaxing in California with his wife, Maryse and the new-born baby.

But, he will return to the show on this week’s episode. It will be interesting to see whether a confrontation between Daniel Bryan and The Miz is stored to start the much-anticipated feud.
