It was hard to believe what we have witnessed on a grand episode of WWE Raw in Providence, Rhode Island. As if Roman Reigns vacating Universal title was not good enough, The Shield fell apart on the same night. Dean Ambrose final went heel on his brother, Seth Rollins on a night which should have been a night dedicated to their brotherhood. We are yet to get over the shocker that closed this week’s episode.

Once Roman Reigns announced his relinquishment of the Universal Championship, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins joined him on the ramp. The two was in teary eyes while hugging the Big Dog. They also did the fist-bump for one final time. We could barely imagine that it might have been the final time that we’ve witnessed them together.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins received a tag team championship match on WWE Raw. They have defeated the champions for a few times in tag team matches over the past few weeks. They featured in a backstage interview with Charly Caruso and talked about how this match is emotional for them. They promised to win the tag team gold in honor of Roman Reigns. In fact, they made their entrance through the crowd paying tribute to their buddy.
They started the match with a quick-fire note by working together. McIntyre tried to hit the Scoop Slam on Dean Ambrose. But Seth Rollins made the tag and cleared the ring together. Distractions allowed the two heels to take control of this tag team match on WWE Raw. Ziggler hit Rollins with a Famesser for a near fall.
The punishment continued as McIntyre hit him with a reverse Alabama Slam. Ziggler also connected with a zig-zag for a near fall. The domination continued until Braun Strowman arrived. The referee was down as he started a fight against Drew McIntyre. Ziggler tried to escape with the title but Rollins caught him with a stomp to win the WWE tag team championships.

Afterward, Dean Ambrose suddenly hit Seth Rollins with Dirty Deeds. Rollins still forgave him as he called him a Lunatic, last week. But Ambrose continued the relentless attack by throwing his former buddy into the time-keeper’s area. He removed the padding at ringside to expose the concrete floor. Ambrose hit another vicious dirty deed to hurt Rollins. Loud boos poured into one-half of the WWE Raw tag team champions as left the arena.
