Dean Ambrose was absent from WWE Raw scene for a long time. He picked up a ruptured elbow aka tricep-torn in mid-December. Diagnosis forced him to undergo a surgery which was a major one. So he remained out of the wrestling scene for almost eight months now.
Fans were speculating a lot about the potential comeback of Dean Ambrose. WWE Raw has not been the same without his presence. Now that Summerslam is approaching, they definitely wanted to see the trusted name back onboard as early as possible. Well, that finally happened just in time for the biggest show of the summer.
Last night’s episode of WWE Raw was promoting an Intercontinental Championship contract signing. But Seth Rollins, the contender for the title match was not present on WWE Raw. Kurt Angle tried to make contact with him throughout the night but failed. He pushed back the segment to the very end of WWE Raw.
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre lost their patience and were about to leave. Just after they signed the contract Seth Rollins arrived on the scene. He informed us that a Lunatic will accompany him at ringside in Summerslam 2018. Music of Dean Ambrose hit the arena as the crowd went nuts.
This certainly made the fans go crazy at the Greensboro Coliseum. Rollins ran into the ring to neutralize Ziggler with a superkick. Dean Ambrose had Drew McIntyre in his grab. It was a delight to see him hitting the Dirty Deeds on the former NXT Champion.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose stood tall to end last night’s WWE Raw with a bang. They did the iconic Shield fist-bump to make people sit on the edge of their seats. This return has certainly hyped things up for Sunday night’s PPV. Rollins will now have a backup against the two heels in the form Dean Ambrose.
Initial reports suggested that Dean Ambrose could be back in time for Wrestlemania. But there might have been some wrong detections in his rehab process which is why the doctors might have altered the entire healing process. This caused delaying in the much-anticipated return for the Lunatic Fringe of the WWE. Now he is back to give company to his former Shield brethren.
