WWE News: Details Revealed on Raw 25th Anniversary Format and Plans

Within one week of time, WWE Raw will be hosting the 25th anniversary. It is going to be a landmark episode in the history of the flagship show of the WWE which is also the longest running weekly episodic television show all around the globe. It got confirmed that two venues will be co-hosting the show at the same time.
Barclays Center and Manhattan Center in New York will be those two concerned arenas where the show will emanate from. Recently, Justin LaBar has provided big details on the upcoming show on wrestlingINC.com. Addressing a lot of curiosity and speculations going on around the show, he revealed the format of the show on January 22nd.
After speaking with different sources, he confirmed that within the three-hour show on the USA Network, 1 hour would be hosted by the Manhattan Center, whereas, the remaining two-hour will take place at the Barclay Center. These time spans will not be a straight-on hourly show. Rather, segments will be broken from both the centers consuming the given time.
The appearances made by The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been the topics of speculations. So, LaBar alluded that both of them are likely to make their presence felt at the Manhattan Center. Only these two names were present at the first episode of WWE Raw which was hosted 25 years back in 1993.
There are no words as to whether The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels will also be present at the Barclays Center or not. It is being rumoured that several superstars are being written to appear on both the venues on that night. Also, a WWE Network episode will be filmed comprising backstage segments. “Another aspect of RAW 25 that we’ve heard from several in the company is that backstage footage is currently being planned to be shot documenting the day. It’s thought that capturing the simultaneous venue broadcast and its logistics for the milestone event will be packaged together for the WWE 24 series on the WWE Network.”
Most of the members of the current roster are likely to be present at the Barclays Center where the main show will occur. Multiple other superstars have wanted to stay at the Manhattan Center to experience the nostalgia from the past.
