WWE News: Dream Match Waiting For Hardy Boyz At Wrestlemania 35 1

The Hardy Boyz are back on Smackdown as a tag team. Jeff Hardy was a regular feature on Tuesday nights whether we have not seen Matt Hardy from summer 2018. He was dealing with a back injury that almost ended his career, for good. Also, his contract with the company was coming to end.

This certainly indicated that we have seen the end of this veteran in the WWE. However, as per the recent reports, both The Hardy Boyz have signed new contracts with the company. The older deal got extended for one more year that ensures these two will be a part of the WWE scene until 2020.

This contract renewal of the Hardy Boyz also hints that the WWE creative team has some big plans for them. Apparently, they are trying to arrange a big match for them at Wrestlemania 35. Belonging from the Smackdown brand it is likely that they will challenge the existing tag team champions over the titles. One of Hardys just dropped the hint of the match.

It was Jeff Hardy who spilled the bin in a recent interview with The Five Count. He revealed that perhaps the most exciting match is waiting for them at the biggest event of the year. If the current plans remain intact then The Hardy Boyz might be facing SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at WrestleMania 35.

There’s no doubt that this match is one of the dream tag team matches of all-time. The Hardy Boyz are perhaps the greatest tag team in the history where The Usos the best in the modern generation. So what better way to witness a classic tag team contest than putting these two teams in a bout?

With that being said, the stakes could be much higher around Wrestlemania while building this rivalry. We never thought of seeing this match in reality which is becoming true within a few weeks. Here’s what Jeff had to offer regarding the match,

“For sure. I got a really strong feeling about the Hardy Boyz reuniting — us against The Usos at Mania. I’m feeling that pretty big, we’ll see.”

Earlier plans around Jeff Hardy were pretty different around Wrestlemania 35. He was about to face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship in a singles contest, as per the Dirty Sheets. But the delay in contract renewal let that match slip through their hands. The creative team then decided to bring back the Hardy Boyz together for this particular match against The Usos.
