WWE News: Fans React on Former WWE Superstar Calling Sasha Banks a Diva 1

Recently, Sasha Banks appeared on the Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast to discuss on various topics. The interview turned out to be a bit controversial one, as the former Raw Women’s Champion taking shots to the WWE fans as well as the officials of the company for bad booking. It’s quite obvious that she is not happy at all with the way her title has been taken back just days after winning it.

Plus, she is considered to be one of the most organically popular superstars in the WWE locker room, today. The fans always give her a standing ovation once she enters in an arena. However, in recent times, there have been a lot of boos towards her which might have been the cause that Sasha took a shot to the fans on the interview.
Accusing some of them literally ‘stalking her’, she stated the following,

“If I see you in public, that’s fine. But when I’m in the airport at four in the morning, and I see somebody with a carry-on, and they open it with a hundred items of everyone, and they’re bothering everyone to get an autograph and then I see it on eBay… that’s not okay to me.”

While some of the superstars have given a positive reaction to it, there are some negative reactions, at all. Bubba Rey Dudley of the Dudley Boyz has tweeted out stating that superstars should be happy if fans surround them, all the time.

In a recent post, former WWE Superstar, Chris Masters also took a shot at Sasha Banks with the same opinion. However, he mentioned the term, “Diva” while addressing her. It gave birth to another fan backlash on the internet.

This particular word has been wiped out of the dictionary of the WWE with the beginning of the Women’s Revolution. At Wrestlemania 32, WWE officially introduced the Women’s Champion replacing the former Divas title which was a path-breaking step. They went on a mission to put the female superstars under the spotlight similar to that of the male ones.

So, at this point, it is certain that the fans hit the former superstar back for attacking the Legit Boss. Previously, superstars like Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Jericho, Big E have also complained about the same, but going after a female star might be intentional from Masters.
