The Royal Rumble PPV will come back in the first month of 2018 to kick-start the Road to Wrestlemania. It is the exciting time of the year where the fans get excited about the prestigious elimination style match that determines the main event superstar for Wrestlemania. Next year, it will be hosted at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The event is scheduled for January 28th at that venue which means we are still six weeks away to reach the show. But, with this bygone episode of WWE Raw, it’s confirmed that the flagship show has started building up the event from now onwards. As we have learned on the show, two big matches were confirmed.

It will be Brock Lesnar defending his Universal Championship against Kane and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match which means these three behemoths will collide in a no Disqualification capacity.
Also, for the first time in the history of the company, the women’s will compete in a separate Royal Rumble match. This news was broken by the Raw commissioner, Stephanie McMahon.

Also, a superstar was the first one to declare that he will be the entrant of the next edition of this battle royal match to go on and headline Wrestlemania 34. In case you have missed, it was none other than Elias who revealed his intentions while delivering the musical segment on Monday Night.
He was out to deliver a song in front of the Providence crowd when he stated that it would be a worthy performance on January 28th when he enters the 30th edition of Royal Rumble match and wins it to feature in the main event of Wrestlemania. Later, it was confirmed on WWE.com that the Drifter Elias is the first one to enter his name into the superstars’ fray,
“The 2018 Royal Rumble is almost upon us, and on the Dec. 18 edition of Monday Night Raw, Elias announced that he is competing in the Royal Rumble Match for the opportunity of winning a World Championship Match at WrestleMania 34.
