The Elimination Chamber was back on last night’s PPV event hosted by the Raw brand. It was the last Raw-exclusive PPV event prior to Wrestlemania with a historic tag attached to it. The occasion was a must-watch for the fans since the women superstars competed inside the steel cage structure for the first time ever.
WWE Raw women’s championship was on the line. Alexa Bliss defended the title against five other superstars at the same time inside this unforgiving steel structure. The superstars who challenged the title-holder were Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. It was a packed lineup and the main event of the night.
The expectations were pretty high from this matchup with the women’s evolution ongoing. Last month, Royal Rumble marked a one-of-a-kind appearance for the WWE audience and last night was no different. The curiosity around the match was quite high as the fans wanted to see how the female stars can cope up with this ominous structures where every inch hurts.

This match started in a similar fashion where the contestants let the moment sink in prior to the beginning of the match, officially. Sonya Deville and Bayley were the two to start the match. They were soon joined by the remaining participants with the champion coming out at the very last spot.

By virtue of this Elimination Chamber win, Alexa Bliss will now face Asuka in the title match to be contested for the WWE Raw women’s championship at Wrestlemania. Asuka defeated Nia Jax in the other women’s match at Elimination Chamber. This kept Nia Jax out of the context at the biggest event of the year. It was good to see Little Miss Bliss getting a dominant win since it will help her going into the match against Asuka.
