Addiction to medicines not prescribed by the doctors is considered as an addiction.
When it comes to the pro-wrestlers, there are many examples that some renowned names have been involved in such addictions and ruined their career. However, there are also stories of fighting back from those unstable conditions to set examples for another one while overcoming the odds.
At this time, former WWE Diva, Kaitlyn has admitted that she dealt with such problems in her career, previously. She used to be a bright young talent who had so much to give in the world of sports entertainment. WWE identified her potential in early age and made her the winner of an NXT season in 2012.
Going forward, she also made her debut on the main roster. It did not take a long time for her to become a top star with great in-ring presence. So, within a limited period, she was able to grab the Divas Championship. It is to be noted Kaitlyn was the first female star on the NXT roster to win a title on the main roster.
It is quite a good indication that she was going achieve more in her upcoming future. However, in her prime, she decided to part ways with the company, and that might have started the downward falling for her. She was quite invested in her business partnership with her then boyfriend.
That relationship turned out to be a nightmare for the talented athlete. Earlier, the two of them parted ways for good. Probably, it was during the tough times when she was involved in these drug issues. In a recent post on Instagram, the former Divas Champion elaborated the exact condition that she was in and how she came out of it. Check out her quotes,
“Over the past few years, I was in a terrible marriage, an addict and not true to myself. It took me so long to admit I had a problem… and then to admit how serious the problem was. I used to pretend to be and to live a certain way for social media. It’s everyone’s hi-light reel.”
At present, Kaitlyn is working hard to get back in shape for wrestling. There are rumours that this may be due to her intention of returning to the WWE, once again.
